Leadership and Involvement

I participated in several clubs at my community college, like the Honors Transfer Club and Alpha Gama Sigma, that were tailored towards raising scholarship funds, promoting school events, and charities. Even though I have not been able to participate in many clubs or extracurricular activities during my time at UCLA, as I live with and take care of my grandmother, I have still learned plenty of unique skills that will aid me in my career path. For instance, I have experience with creating floor plans, organizing data and incomes, and writing important emails, informative notices, and research papers. I also have plenty of experience working in groups and conducting/sharing information in group settings. In fact, my high school, Da Vini Science, was project-based where many group projects were assigned, so working with others is something I can both handle and enjoy. Thus, I am able to confidently and thoughtfully work and communicate with others, as well as apply my skillsets to whatever task is at hand.
