Goal-Setting

            Although I am currently a senior nearing my last quarter at UCLA, I still have several goals that I’d like to achieve. First, I’d like to get better at navigating UCLA’s online databases for finding and analyzing academic research. In fact, the paper I am currently writing for my Digital Media Studies course requires several outside, academic resources, so becoming more familiar with the databases will definitely help me with this assignment and future ones. Additionally, I would like to continue making quarterly time grids for myself to keep track of deadlines and important information so that it is always readily available. Though I have never turned in an assignment late, I do tend to procrastinate every now and then. Thus, I have found that creating time grids and lists has helped me immensely this quarter, so I would like to continue making them for the remainder of my time at UCLA and beyond. Lastly, I would like to start utilizing the career center and start making connections with people that could potentially help me navigate my career path and gain some work experience. Though I have nearly completed my time here at UCLA, there is still so much that I would love to achieve and learn.
